Resonant Fields: The Art of Listening through Sound and Dialogue

+

With Tim Jones and Sarah Hill

Dorset - Friday 27th to Sunday 29th April 2012

Krishnamurti (the Indian spiritual teacher) asks us to examine how we listen. He invites us to quieten our prejudices, inclinations and projections and experience the joy and peace that can follow.

In connecting with that silence we have the opportunity to connect with our shared meanings and unfolding potential.

Listening is a radiant activity and a deeply mindful practice. The quality of the dialogues we have with others and ourselves is enhanced through our listening.

In this workshop we will explore the 'Art of Listening' through both musical sound and dialogue.

Integrating sound and dialogue will allow for:

  • - Hearing the voice without judgment and inner criticism
  • - Sensing the voice through the whole body
  • - Developing through singing and dialogue a deep contact to both 'inner' and 'outer' worlds
  • - Exploring sounding and singing as a way of healing the soul

No previous musical experience/knowledge is needed!

Course Fee including teaching and overnight accommodation: £205

Please bring food to share.

There is space for 10 participants, allocated on a first come, first served basis. To book please send a £75, non-refundable deposit to Sarah Hill at Willow End, 11 Passage Road, Saul, Gloucester, GL2 7LB | Tel: 01452 741603 | Email: sarah.hill@dialogix.co.uk
