Our whole systems approach uses generative dialogue to enable the real differences people are struggling with to surface and to work directly with those. We believe working in this way makes it possible to explore how the current system functions from a range of different perspectives and begin to identify opportunities for change.
Everyone has a part to play in things happening the way they do in any system. All roles, including that of staff, manager and service user/client/customer have equal value. All are stakeholders with different perceptions that deserve mutual respect so that everyone supports and learns from each other. In this process, there is no single expert, as all have the potential to make an equal contribution to developing and improving the quality of services and determining future priorities.
